OPHELIA, we all know her.

She is this woman, this character created by Shakespeare in Hamlet. But do we actually know her?

What we know of her is what we made of her.

OPHELIA is mad, OPHELIA sings senseless words, OPHELIA talks to the flowers and is nothing more than a shell filled with her own grief.

She is a virgin, she wears a white dress and she took her own life in water floating like a lily…

We all know her but only through the eyes of the others. Only through the eyes of men.

And what if it was time for her to finally speak?
